Turitour Coffee Highlands: Two days to discover the coffee soul of Veracruz.
Embark on a sensory and cultural journey through the most charming landscapes of Xalapa and the coffee-growing region of Veracruz. Turitour Coffee Highlands is a two-day experience, perfect for those looking to combine history, nature, tradition, and flavor.
On the first day, you’ll explore the vibrant heart of Xalapa, the cultural capital of Veracruz. Walk through the Historic Center and admire architectural gems like the Government Palace and the majestic Metropolitan Cathedral. Enjoy the scenic Paseo de los Lagos, the dynamic University Zone, the artistic Callejón del Diamante, and the acclaimed Xalapa Museum of Anthropology—considered one of the most important in the country for its Totonac and Olmec collections. This day includes a welcome lunch and dinner at local restaurants, along with one night's accommodation in the city.
On the second day, you’ll dive into the origins of Veracruz’s coffee culture with an exclusive visit to the historic Bola de Oro Museum Estate, a hacienda founded in 1902 that preserves over five generations of coffee-growing heritage. There, you’ll walk among the coffee plants, learn the entire process “from the farm to the cup,” and enjoy a freshly brewed cup in a breathtaking natural setting.
The adventure continues in the charming Magical Town of Coatepec, where you’ll stroll cobblestone streets steeped in history, admire colonial architecture, and soak in the most authentic coffee atmosphere in Mexico. Visit the Parish of San Jerónimo, the Central Park, and the Municipal Palace, and enjoy a traditional meal plus free time to explore local handicraft markets and cafés.
A weekend to remember—celebrating the flavor, tradition, and identity of Veracruz in an experience that goes far beyond just a cup of coffee.
