At Hacienda Santa Barbara, you’ll take part in a nixtamalization workshop, where you’ll learn ancestral corn based techniques, and visit the Malena Diaz Gallery, dedicated to art and the preservation of native corn from communities such as Ixtenco. At Hacienda Soltepec, you’ll enjoy the Pulque Museum, including tastings of natural pulque and traditional flavored varieties, as well as explore the Organic and Artisan Market, a local benchmark for fair trade and community based production in Huamantla.
